Introducing our newest Canadian location in North Vancouver's beautiful waterfront community, Lower Lonsdale.

Step into our brand new 9,500 square-foot space and you’ll be met with the hospitality we’re famous for, along with unparalleled ocean, mountain and city views. With two levels of indoor and outdoor space, a showcase kitchen and wrap-around lounge bar, JOEY Shipyards is a contemporary oasis on the North Shore. Just steps away from the seabus by the famous Lonsdale Quay, our newest location will offer globally-inspired and locally sourced dishes, signature cocktails and of course, good company.

For our 28th location, we’re proud to join the bustling seaside community of Lower Lonsdale and The Shipyard’s industrial surroundings. We’re right next door to a 12,000 square-foot ice skating rink, a night market and the must-see Burrard Dry Dock Pier—perfect for post-dinner strolls. Come by for a bite before taking in everything that the historic Shipyards neighbourhood has to offer.

We worked with local artists including North Vancouver’s own ​Brent Comber​ to bring the story of the Pacific Northwest coastline right into our dining room. Local lighting designer ​Bocci created a standout custom piece that you can take in from both floors.

Now let’s talk food

Our visionary chefs and award-winning JOEY Culinary Team created the menu at JOEY Shipyards, including globally-inspired dishes and an extensive drink menu. Sit at the large island bar with an Espresso Martini during happy hour, or dine on one of the signature dishes we’re known for. Soak up every last drop of the Bombay Butter Chicken with grilled naan, or warm up with a bowl of our much-loved Ramen (given the nod of approval by L.A. celebrities).

Our Executive Director of Culinary, Matt Stowe, created two new dishes, including the Oven Roasted Cod, made with wild Pacific cod on a bed of aromatic rice with coconut curry sauce, and the rosemary-marinated Mushroom Chicken in a rich red wine jus. Try either of these dishes with our brand new rum-based tiki-tropical cocktail: The Jungle Bird.

Whether you’re doing dry January or just prefer your cocktails zero proof—our JOEY Shipyards menu includes two new liquor-free libations with all the creativity and flavour complexity of traditional cocktails.​ Try the refreshing Matcha Mojito mocktail with a green tea kick or the She Pretty mocktail that you’ll have trouble distinguishing from a real martini.
